Knowledge and Understanding of the World

Our children discover and learn about the world around them by exploring natural substances such as sand, water and clay and use technology and materials to further this learning and build on ideas. We also develop an appreciation of plants and wildlife and observe the environment around us. Each child also develops their problem solving and decision making skills by experimenting and asking questions to help build on their curiosity, prediction, critical thinking and questioning skills.
